Detailed information about the project

Innovation in our project

In recent years, VRA fertilizer spreaders have begun to penetrate the cultivation of corn in our country. However, their use has been limited to avoiding double passes during lubrication and not to the differentiation of lubrication, with the result that their true potential is not exploited. This is due to the lack of any scientifically validated methodology that would guarantee a minimum profit for the producer.

This Operational Plan introduces exactly this innovation in the production process of corn cultivation, by creating zones of differentiated management of fertilization within each corn field, according to the actual nutritional needs of the plants. The financial analysis that will be conducted will accurately quantify the mean expected profit and the corresponding confidence intervals. At the same time, the new protocol reduces the environmental footprint of corn, creating healthier and value-added products.
